Review: The Sinner Within by J.L. Leslie

The Sinner Within  is the first book in J.L. Leslie’s new MC serie L.A. Sinners
If you know me well, you know that I am a sucker for well-written MC Romances. I mean what’s not to like? Bad ass Characters left and right, no bullshiting and everyone being crude and violent as hell. Oh and a generous sprinkle of sexy rexy time, of course.
The Sinner Within was that book for me.
Also, a great bonus, no doormat heroine.

Lucien ‘The Revenant’ McNamara he fascinated me through the whole book. He calls Harper ‘an enigma’ but I find Lucien is the real enigma here. His past still haunts him and he’s trying to make-up for wrongdoings he’s not to blame. I love Lucien for being constant, he’s standing 100% behind his decision and isn’t sorry for them. His loyalty for his MC and Harper is astonishing. His inner conflict took me out tbh, like someone please wrap this guy in bubble wrap.

Violence runs through my blood

Harper Ryland This girl is NO damsel in distress. If you’re looking for any, you won’t find them in this book. Harper is bad ass and resilient. I don’t want to give away anything, but you are in for a nice surprise.

"You can’t just go and do whatever the fuck you want.”

“Oh really? I thought that’s what adults did. Did you miss where I just told you I’m a grown ass fucking woman?”

This was my first J.L. Leslie read and I enjoyed it very much. The Sinner Within is a spin-off series from the Ravens MC Series. I didn’t read the Raven MC series beforehand and don’t think that it is essential for this Story.
I’m looking so forward to all the stories to come, especially Reid’s. Oh my God I already know, if we get a Story for Reid I will lose it.
