Oh...and what darkness that was.
It's over, my friends. There is no way you can convince me that Dani René is from this planet. Just No. This woman comes from a very dark, very twisted and very fucking sexual place that I would only loove to visit... for some sightseeing of course. Noting else. Especially not to go looking for three guys that...oh what a miracle, appear in this suspenseful mindfuck Dani has written, no def no that.
So I didn't read the previous books in this Serie and it did limit my reading experience a little. I had a few questions that wouldn't probably come up if I had read the previous five books. But I don't think that they are crucial for the understanding of Envy.
I went totally blind into this book, I only knew that whatever was coming my way was going to hit me hard. The Dani René style.
The story is told in three POVs, the first being Eliana, our white-haired and green-eyed heroine, the second being Asher, our hero, who contrasts Eliana, with his dark eyes and dark hair and the last one being 'The Villian', this one I leave you to figure out ;D
I love mysteries and this book was one big mystery until the very end.
